Abstract

|
A twenty-seven years old male of Marchiafava Micheli diseases(paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria) is presented. Attacks of hemoglobinuria were aggravated by whole blood transfusion, but were relieved by dextran washed packed red cells infusions.
A few comments are made pertinent to the mechanism and clinical manifestations of this blood dyscrasia.
